Fall look

Hi loves,

It has been a hot minute since we have been here updating you with our style and sharing some of our favourite looks. Never the less for this post we are back with our favourite style which is mixing different types of prints and creating a whole different mood with your look. So stay tuned as we share our version of mixing prints with you.

For many it seems rather difficult to mix prints together – I have heard things like you get lost in it. But we don’t think so, in fact it is easy and can take your look to a whole new level if done right. Basic rules to stick to while you are mixing prints include sticking to the same colour palette – I think this is key to mixing 2 prints together.

For this look, what we are doing is playing with the same shades and tones. But instead of two completely different prints we have sort of combined two rather similar geometric patterns but in different sizes. The only difference here is one is more detailed and smaller while the later is more widespread. I absolutely love how these two work together.

An outfit like this demands some equally eye-catching accessories – for this look I teamed up one of my favourite new pair of dainty heels from Charles and Keith. The heels on this is my absolute favourite. It is like no other heel I have owned i.e. not at all like the typical heel. It’s got a very muted golden heel slightly slanted. Almost so edgy and editorial. Lastly, finish off the look with a neat tied pony tail and a very light makeup look with nudes. I like everything else to be subtle and always let the outfit speak.
