Being a regular at this salon, we’ve always loved how warm and welcomed the staff here makes us feel. Being owned by an Emirati, the brand offers women a feast for their mind, body and soul. While most salons open up at 10 am and close by 9 am, T&T gets to business from as early as 9am to as late as 10pm! You can really count on them for a quick stop before your early mornings while other salons are snoozing or perhaps not have to rush after your work timings to get to a salon before they shut.

I visited the Business Bay Branch of T&T. Speaking of the salon; it’s extremely well maintained in terms of cleanliness and extravagantly furnished with the purple, red and gold décor that adorns every Tips and Toes branch.

We’ve visited them many a times for quick blow-dries, hairdos, express mani/pedis but this time around I decided to trust them with my hair as I was looking to change things up with my hair color.

As soon as I arrived, the Senior Hairstylist, Jeremie, greeted me and we quickly got into our hair consultation session where we discussed several hair color options and styles that I could go for. Jeremie was a pleasure to communicate with, she understood exactly what I wanted and we quickly started with a subtle Mocha brown base color and soft gold highlights in Balayage style.

She also suggested I went for Loreal INOA which is their leading no ammonia permanent hair colour range with Oil Delivery System. I really suggest you opt for this range of hair color because it left my hair feeling super soft and shiny right after I was done with this entire process.

Moving on to the highlights, which obviously involved adding bleach to the hair. Even though we decided on not going too overboard with the highlights. I was still a little skeptical about moving forward with this process. At this point, the hairstylist gave me a little more information regarding Olaplex, which is a treatment that limits damage to hair during or after coloring. This seemed extremely promising and we went ahead with the process.

This process took us a good 3-4 hours but the end results were so worth it! I walked out with exactly what I had asked for. My hair has never looked better! And with all the extra precautions my hair colorist took from using ammonia free color to adding the Olaplex treatment to my hair while colouring it, I feel like the quality of my hair has stayed unaffected and is pretty much the same as before.

All in all, if you’re one of those people who are afraid to experiment with your hair color just like me, I would really recommend trying out Jeremie at the tips and toes business bay branch. She’s an absolute hair-genius and will undeniably make you fall in love with your locks making sure you walk out with the shinest hair to flaunt around in town.
