Hi guys, wishing all our lovely readers Ramadan Kareem and hope you guys are having a blessed month of festivities. It’s been a long time since we have posted a blog post due to a major technological crisis! One fine day our laptop decided to bail out on us and stops functioning as a result locking in ALL of our data. EVERY BLOGGER’S WORST NIGHT MARE!!! Anyways, to cut long stories short we finally have it all under control and are ready with some fun posts for you guys.

Today we will be sharing with you our experience with Gosh Cosmetics. Gosh Arabia welcomed us for a fun makeup session with their talented professional makeup artist Janet. We loved this session with them as not only did we learn so much about the brand but also learnt makeup tips from the artist. Sharing below are some images from the looks created on us using gosh products.

Makeup looks

Gosh, a brand originated from Denmark has been in the UAE for about 2 years and we absolutely loved it ever since we were introduced to it. These products use all natural ingredients which means they’re Paraben-free, fragrance free & cruelty free which is an added bonus! We’ve tried and tested out a few of their products, which we couldn’t stop obsessing over during our makeover session with the team.

Gosh primer plus:

Gosh primer

A good primer always goes a long way and gosh’s illuminating primer is just that! This primer is the perfect base for the foundation to glide through the face smoothly and makes the makeup last much longer. Not only does this primer helps the makeup stay put but gives your skin the perfect dewy finish which leaves the skin looking so fresh and healthy. This works great even on your no makeup days to even out your skin and provide a tinge of that natural glow.

Gosh foundation drops:

Gosh foundation drops review

These foundation drops are everything we personally look for in a foundation. At first, you might find it a little runny but it blends into your skin seamlessly as though you have nothing on. This foundation makes your skin a better version of itself. It’s so lightweight there are times we felt we are bare skin. Speaking of coverage, the foundation is very buildable and even with multiple layers on it still felt like nothing on the skin. The foundation comes with a pipette dropper lid as most natural oils come in, in fact one of the foundation’s core ingredient is the Argon oil which is why you might find it a little greasy at first but we are all about that dewy, glowy finish and couldn’t ask for more! Which is why if your skin is on the oilier side, we would not recommend this for you. We are in shade 008 Honey and it is a perfect match for us. Although with just 4 shades available the color choices could prove to be limited for some.

Gosh 2in1 prime+set

gosh prime and set powder

This powder promises to work as a mattifying setting powder for makeup as well as priming your face. As a setting powder this product does the job just right by mattiffying the skin without drying it out but as a primer the texture is just not right and might hinder the application of your foundation. But if your skin is on the oilier side this product might just be aimed at you and if used right it will help absorb excess oils. One of the things we would like to give a special mention to is the packaging. The sieve-like lid allows you to control the amount of powder required which avoids wastage of product.

Rebel eyes mascara

Gosh rebel eyes mascara

We all love the appearance of falsies but lets be honest it can be a task applying them and some days they just won’t cooperate! Take our word for this, if you want your lashes looking like those beautiful fluttery falsies without having to go through all the hassle then you need to try this product, It’s AHMAZING!

The formula is one the best we’ve come across, it contains Sea Buckthorn Oil Extract, which is a great nourishing ingredient and even protects your lashes. The slightly curved wand help gets to the base of the lashes and coat each individual lash helping them lengthen and fan out. We absolutely love that it’s super jet black and leaves the lashes looking long and volumized at the same time. By the looks of it we’re definitely going to be hooked on to this product for a long time!

Bronzing Shimmer powder

Gosh bronzing shimmer powder

This product came in the cutest packaging with a 5-brick pattern and the most beautiful pink-bronzey-shades but we were a little disappointed in this as it is just a bit too shimmery for us. Some of the shades could probably be used as a powder highlighter but the product definitely failed to deliver as a bronzer.

9 shades eye shadow collection palette

Gosh eyeshadow newyork

There are 3 palettes to choose from under this range and are named after the cities New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. We were most attracted to the mauve purple shades in the New York palette. So we decided to get our hands on the palette. The palette has a very neat and cheek design with a lavish mirror on the inside, It’s one of those palettes you want to be carrying around in your hand bag specially for all you girls who are always on the go. The colors in the palette are a combination of matte, shimmery, dark and light. The colors are well pigmented and are so easy to mix and match delivering brilliant color payoff. If you’re looking for a palette comprising of simple, wearable daytime most used 9 neutral colors we would really recommend investing in one of these!

Gosh cosmetics

All in all what we loved about this brand the most was how each product is formulated keeping skin care in mind combining essential oils and keeping the products fragrance free. Application of these products is easy and we really enjoy how most of the products give us the barely-there feel perfect for everyday makeup looks. The mascara and the foundation drops make way into our list of all-time favorite beauty products and we highly recommend getting your hands on them!
